Technical Sales Assistant Location: Shrewsbury Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 Industry: Engineering, Lifting Equipment An opportunity has opened for a Technical Sales Assistant to join an engineering company based in Shrewsbury. The ideal candidate will have a background within customer service and sales. You will also have a background within an Engineering company, preferably lifting equipment, cranes or similar. The role doesn’t require any sales calls to be made or business development as they have already built a reliable customer base but you will be handling any incoming enquiries and advising clients on services provided. Technical Sales Assistant Key Skills: * Experience within Engineering or Manufacturing – ideally lifting equipment * Technical engineering knowledge * Inbound sales background * Experience of building and maintaining customer relationships * Negotiation skills and upselling experience * Confident in providing advice to clients and explaining services * LOLER or PUWER knowledge would be beneficial Technical Sales Assistant Responsibilities: * Taking inbound calls from clients and providing advice * Maintaining client relationships * Presenting to clients with technical details of services that the business provides * Negotiating prices inline with company price points * Providing technical insight on crane systems and other lifting equipment * Ensure industry standards are met If you could be interested in finding out more about this role, please apply with your latest CV
