Job Description Join Our Team as a Senior Quantity Surveyor!\n\n Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team working on the Yorkshire Water Framework in Leeds! \n\nLocation & Hours\n Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire \n Hours: 45 hours per week – some flexibility available, just let us know when we chat! \n\nYour Responsibilities\n As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in delivering a portfolio of design and build projects on the Yorkshire Water AMP8 Complex Non-Infrastructure Framework. Your key responsibilities will include: \n \n \nLead commercial and contractual management of projects, identifying and mitigating risks. \n \nManage target cost contracts, including forecasting, cost/value reporting, and final accounts. \n \nMaximise cash flow, profitability, and value through effective change control and procurement. \n \nOversee subcontract placement, valuation, payment, and financial performance. \n \nProvide commercial insight and financial updates to clients and senior stakeholders. \n \nSupport and develop junior team members while promoting a positive, inclusive team culture. \n\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n We want to hear from you if you have: \n \n \nProven experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor (or similar) role within construction, civils, or utilities. \n \nStrong NEC contract experience, including Target Cost mechanisms. \n \nFramework delivery experience (utilities or water sector preferred). \n \nExcellent client-facing communication skills with strong commercial judgement. \n\n\n At Kier, we believe in finding potential, and we welcome transferable skills!
