This Lincoln based company conduct the R&D for a group who design and manufacture Microwave/RF components from concept to finished product. Main responsibilities of the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer: Initial product concept development and validation Proposal generation Concept CAD Detailed product design and CAD modelling Review mechanical drawings Work in cohesion with electronic engineer on prototype construction Manage environmental and mechanical testing and product verification Fault finding Draft assembly instructions Requirements of the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer: Ability to work to MIL 810 standards Worked within the aerospace or defence industries Product design Environmental qualification and requirements Master of CAD tools Ability to work with suppliers This is a great opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer that is an expert in their field, agile in their approach, and able to deliver optimal solutions for their customers.
