WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU Permanent role from day one Houghton le Spring location £25,411 per annum starting wage based on 38-hour week Opportunity to progress through pay levels to achieve salary of £27,130.48 Alternating 2 shift system days and backs (6:30am-2:30pm and 2:30pm-10:30pm). Workers are advised to be on the shop floor 10 minutes prior to shift start (this is paid) Overtime during the week is time & ¼. Time & ½ Saturday and Double time Sunday Training and development opportunities 25 days holiday plus statutory Uniform supplied Auto enrolled pension Medical cover Opportunity to work for a stable and rapidly growing business THE BUSINESS Westray Recruitment Group is seeking to recruit an experienced FLT Driver (Counter Balance) to work within a fast paced, high volume production setting in the Houghton le Spring area. Previous FLT experience is a MUST however candidates can apply who either have an in-date counter balance license or having a lapsed or inhouse license. Our client operates a target driven environment and you will form part of a close nit team working to unload various machines. Although this is a Fork Lift role, you will also deliver quality inspection. The client is heavily ambitious, they are growing rapidly and they have an excellent order book. This role is permanent from day one and comes with not only stability, but also the opportunity for progression.  This role offers excellent job security. THE ROLE Counter Balance FLT Driving Line feeding products to and from the line Helping others achieve production targets by ensuring the seamless supply of goods to the line Quality checking finished goods prior to allocating them to stock THE PERSON Either a current FLT license or formerly holding Counter Balance FLT Driving experience (licenses can be refreshed in house) Ability to operate FLT’s in a very fast paced environment Able to deliver visual quality inspections Able to follow SOP’s and work instruction Punctual and reliable Due to the unsuitable nature of shifts it could also be beneficial for candidates to have their own transport TO APPLY Please send your updated CV to Sadie Wright or apply direct by calling Westray Recruitment Group
