Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor Salary: Up to £70,000 + Package Are you a commercially minded Quantity Surveyor looking for a role where you can take ownership, develop your career and work within a supportive, professional team? We are working with a growing consultancy that is looking to appoint a strong Quantity Surveyor who is capable of managing projects commercially from start to finish whilst being supported by an experienced commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys autonomy, client interaction and the flexibility of hybrid working. The Role You will be responsible for the commercial management of projects throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery and strong financial performance. Key responsibilities include: • Preparation and management of CVRs • Valuations and applications for payment • Variations and change control • Subcontractor procurement and management • Cost reporting and forecasting • Final accounts • Contract administration • Client and stakeholder liaison • Commercial support to project delivery teams About You • Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor • Strong commercial awareness • Experience producing CVRs and managing project finances • Understanding of JCT and/or NEC contracts • Ability to manage workloads independently • Confident communicator with good client-facing skills • Ambitious, proactive and keen to develop What's on Offer? • Salary up to £70,000 depending on experience • Hybrid working – 2 days office based and 3 days remote • Supportive and collaborative commercial team • Genuine career progression opportunities • Interesting and varied project portfolio • Stable business with a strong pipeline of work This role would suit a confident Quantity Surveyor looking for the next step in their career, someone who enjoys responsibility but values having the support of an experienced team around them.
