Secondary Teaching Assistant What the School Offers

Full academic year placement from September 2026 to July 2027
33.5 working hours per week, including half-days on Fridays
Weekly pay of £444£513 via PAYE (inclusive of holiday pay)

Key Responsibilities

Supporting teaching and learning across multiple subject areas
Delivering small-group and 1:1 interventions
Supporting pupils with SEND needs in mainstream classrooms
Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom organisation
Promoting pupil confidence, engagement and progress

The Ideal Candidate

Holds a 2:1 degree or above from a leading UK university
Has previous child-centred experience
Is flexible, proactive and committed to supporting young people
Has strong communication skills and a positive attitude
