We are currently seeking an experienced Data Modeler to join a high-performing AI & Data team working on a leading enterprise transformation project. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders across multiple business areas and play a key role in shaping data strategy, governance, and scalable data solutions.
The Role
As a Data Modeler, you will work closely with business representatives, data owners, end users, application designers, and data architects to model both current and future-state data structures. You will act as a subject matter expert within the team, driving best practices in data modelling and contributing to strategic data decisions across the programme.
You will facilitate workshops, gather business requirements, and develop robust data models that support organisational objectives while ensuring data quality and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and define data requirements
Facilitate workshops to gather and analyse data needs across teams
Develop, maintain, and enhance conceptual, logical, and physical data models
Ensure data integrity and quality through effective modelling practices
Work alongside data architects to design scalable and efficient data solutions
Support and influence key technical and business decisions within the programme
Engage with multiple teams to drive alignment on data standards and methodologies
Continuously review and improve data modelling processes and team performance
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience in Data Modelling Techniques and Methodologies
Proven ability to work with stakeholders across business and technical functions
Experience within AI & Data environments
Strong understanding of:
Data Quality Tools & Methods
Data Taxonomy
AI & Data Strategy
Experience creating scalable and maintainable enterprise data models
Excellent communication and workshop facilitation skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
