Electrician Rugby We are recruiting for an Electrician on a Permanent basis The base salary is between £30,866 - £36,135 dependant on experience. As Electrician you will be involved in; * Planned and preventative electrical maintenance, including administrative duties aligned to the tasks. * Actively fault finding / problem solving on electrical systems across the prison. * Carry out like for like replacements and other electrical minor works with the relevant electrical inspections and tests carried out and results recorded in accordance with BS7671. * Ensuring that all electrical systems are safe, compliant, and functioning effectively helping to create a secure and well-maintained environment for staff and residents. What you will bring: * City & Guilds 2367 or 2357 Level 2 Electrical Installation works or equivalent. * BS7671 18th Edition, however, we will consider 17th Edition with upskilling to 18th Edition. * Good working knowledge of Health & Safety requirements. * Good working knowledge of planned and preventative maintenance operations. * Excellent organisational, time management and people skills. The standard hours of work are 39 hours per week (across 7 days as a weekend shift pattern is in place). There is a need to work 1 in 3 weekends, but this would be on a rota basis (and with an additional allowance of 15% of basic salary).
