Electrical Engineer – Merton A well-established building services and maintenance contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Engineer to join its growing engineering team covering Merton and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified engineer looking for long-term work, regular overtime, varied commercial sites, and a strong team environment. The Electrical Engineer Role You will be carrying out: * Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) * Reactive maintenance and call outs * Electrical fault finding * Testing and inspection works * Quoted remedial works * Occasional small project and commissioning works Working Across * Schools * Colleges * Universities * NHS buildings * Council buildings * Student accommodation * Extra care schemes Requirements * AM2 Qualification * Experience within commercial maintenance * Strong fault-finding ability * Full UK Driving Licence * PASMA/IPAF beneficial but not essential Package * £18.00 – £22.00 per hour * Company van and fuel card * Electrical testing equipment provided * Standard hand tools supplied * Travel paid (30 mins deducted each way) * 20 days holiday * Company pension * Death in service benefit * Plenty of overtime available * Overtime paid at 1.25x / 1.5x * Call out rota 1 week in 6 * Standby and call out payments included
