CNC Machinist Milling / Mill-Turn

Mazco Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering manufacturer in Birmingham that is investing heavily in advanced machining technology and continues to secure long-term contracts across high-specification industries. We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist with strong milling experience and familiarity with Hurco, GROB, or DMG Mori machinery. Candidates with CNC Mill-Turn experience will have a significant advantage. The Role * Program, Set and operate advanced CNC machining centres * Produce high-precision components to tight tolerances * Perform tooling changes, offsets, and machine adjustments * Read and interpret engineering drawings * Conduct in-process inspection using standard measuring equipment * Work closely with programming and quality teams to ensure efficient production Requirements * Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, CNC Miller, or CNC Setter/Operator * Experience working with Hurco, GROB, or DMG Mori machines * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * Strong understanding of machining principles and precision engineering * Experience with 5-axis machining would be beneficial * CNC Mill-Turn experience is highly desirable * Ability to work independently and maintain high-quality standards What's On Offer? * Up to £24.00 per hour * Permanent day shift * Overtime opportunities * Modern, well-equipped machining facility * Stable and growing business with excellent long-term prospects * Supportive working environment and opportunities for development If you are an experienced CNC Machinist looking to join a forward-thinking engineering company with excellent earning potential, we'd like to hear from you.
