Site Agent - Pipeline ProjectNorth Leicestershire | Temporary Hays Civil Engineering are working with a leading Tier 1 contractor to recruit an experienced Site Agent for a major pipeline infrastructure project in North Leicestershire. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a nationally recognised business delivering key utilities infrastructure as part of a long-term investment programme. Your new role As Site Agent, you will take overall responsibility for the safe, timely and commercially compliant delivery of pipeline works on site. You will be the key point of contact for operational delivery, ensuring standards, programme milestones and client expectations are met. Key responsibilities Managing day-to-day site operations on pipeline and associated civils works Leading site teams including engineers, supervisors and subcontractors Ensuring work is delivered in line with programme, budget, and quality expectations Maintaining high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance Producing and managing short-term programmes and lookahead plans Overseeing method statements, risk assessments, and permits Managing subcontractors and monitoring performance Supporting commercial teams with cost control, variations and reporting Liaising with stakeholders, including clients, local authorities and internal teamsWhat you'll need to succeed Proven experience as a Site Agent on civil engineering or utilities projects Strong background delivering pipeline / water / utilities infrastructure works Good understanding of NEC contracts (NEC3/NEC4 preferred) Ability to manage teams and drive programme delivery SMSTS, CSCS (Gold/Black), and First Aid qualifications Strong communication and organisational skillsWhat you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
