About the role

Reporting to: HR Consultant Location: Home based (with travel to client sites and meetings as required) This opportunity is ideally suited to candidates located in or around Hampshire due to the location of our client base. About the Role We’re looking for a confident and proactive HR Advisor to join our growing consultancy. In this role, you will deliver high quality, practical HR and recruitment support to a diverse client base while working closely with HR Consultants on a range of projects and casework. You will play a key role in helping organisations navigate people challenges with confidence, providing clear, commercially focused advice across a broad range of HR matters. This is a varied client facing role combining  HR advisory work, recruitment activity, case management support, training delivery, and involvement in wider HR projects and consultancy work. Key Responsibilities HR Advisory & Employee Relations  Provide advice on employee relations matters, including absence, performance, disciplinaries, and grievances. Support investigations and casework, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and best practice, while coaching managers on people management issues. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition  Support the full recruitment lifecycle, including advertising, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding. Partner with hiring managers to attract and secure top talent while delivering a positive candidate experience. HR Operations & Administration  Prepare HR documentation, maintain employee records, support policy development, and assist with HR systems, reporting, and process improvements. Client & Stakeholder Management  Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, acting as a trusted contact for HR and recruitment support while delivering a high standard of service. Training & Development  Support the creation of HR resources and training materials to help managers and clients develop effective people management skills. Networking & Business Development  Represent the organisation at networking events, build professional relationships, and support business development activities to promote HR and recruitment services. About You This opportunity would suit an experienced HR professional who is already operating at HR Advisor level or someone ready to take the next step into a more advisory focused role. We also welcome applications from individuals with a strong background in recruitment within an HR environment who are looking to broaden their generalist HR experience. The ideal candidate will be confident building relationships, providing people focused support, and managing a varied workload across both recruitment and HR activities.
