We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Accounts Manager to join one of the Southwest’s leading accountancy practices based out of their Exeter office.

In this Senior Accounts Manager role, you will manage a specialist client portfolio, delivering a tailored and proactive service to a broad range of businesses.

The responsibilities:

• Manage a niche client portfolio, delivering tailored accounting support and advice.
• Prepare and review year-end accounts, tax returns, and VAT submissions.
• Handle client queries, support business planning, and work closely with Partners on key projects.
• Oversee portfolio administration, ensuring deadlines, billing, and workflow are effectively managed.
• Support team operations by mentoring junior staff, managing workloads, and helping grow the firm’s client base.

The candidate:

• You will be either fully qualified or in the process of completing your ACA or ACCA qualification.
• Experience of working within a practice environment.
• Well-versed in all aspects of client communication and delivering an excellent service at all times.
• You will have a team-player attitude, with the ability to motivate you team and support with workflows. xwzovoh
