About the job Location : Bolton, BL4, Greater Manchester Home Type : Brand New 4-Bed EBD Home Contract : Full-Time, Permanent Salary : £60,000–£65,000 per annum + Performance Bonus We are currently seeking to recruit a Registered Manager to lead a brand-new children’s residential home in Bolton. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated professional who is passionate about building services from the ground up and making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people. This role presents an exciting opportunity to lead and shape a new service, creating a nurturing, safe, and high-quality environment that supports children to thrive and reach their full potential. Responsibilities Lead a brand-new children’s residential home in Bolton. Support the opening, development, and growth of a new residential service. Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, frameworks, and requirements. Create a nurturing and safe environment for children and young people. Qualifications Hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent qualification, or be actively working towards completion. Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience within a children’s residential setting within the last 5 years. Possess previous experience in a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager role. Required Skills Demonstrate a strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, frameworks, and compliance requirements. Be confident and capable of supporting the opening, development, and growth of a new residential service. Be resilient, child-focused, values-driven, and committed to achieving positive outcomes for children and young people. Preferred Skills Experience in leading and shaping new services.
