About the role
UK Sales Manager, Managing Industrial / Manufacturing Distribution Partners. £70,000 Basic, £100,000 OTE + Car + Excellent Benefits. Remote-based (ideally Midlands, North). The role is working for a global manufacturing company specialising in abrasives. The focus is on developing their UK distributor network and expanding their direct end-user customer base.
- Broadening and professionalising our UK distribution footprint
- Developing direct relationships with key industrial end users
- Positioning ourselves as a technically strong, long-term partner, not a price-driven supplier
In terms of profile, we are looking for someone who:
- Has prior experience in the abrasives industry (bonded and/or coated)
- Possesses solid technical knowledge of abrasive products and applications
- Has worked in and understands the UK market, with an existing network of customers and/or distributors
- Has a proven track record in market development and business growth
- Is strong in customer relationships and account management
- Is comfortable operating with a high level of autonomy and ownership
Phase two is promotion to Sales Director with plans to recruit a UK sales team.
