Tiger HR are delighted to be supporting a growing and forward-thinking financial services business that is seeking an HR, Payroll & Benefits Associate to join its London-based HR team.
This is a broad and hands-on role supporting the full employee lifecycle, with a particular focus on payroll, HR systems, onboarding, and employee support. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations while delivering an excellent employee experience across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Support the HR function across multiple areas, particularly Payroll, Benefits, and HRIS administration
Coordinate onboarding processes for new hires, including documentation, compliance checks, system set-up, employment verification, and benefits enrolment
Maintain HR systems with a high level of accuracy, ensuring timely updates for joiners, leavers, and employee changes
Produce regular and ad hoc HR reports
Act as a first point of contact for HRIS and HR-related queries, escalating where appropriate
Provide administrative support across the HR team, including preparing correspondence and maintaining employee records
Support payroll processing by preparing input data, liaising with payroll providers, checking outputs, and responding to employee queries
Assist with payroll reconciliations and benefits administration
Contribute to continuous improvement within HR operations and processes
Skills & Experience
Previous experience within an HR and/or payroll role
Experience using HR systems/HRIS platforms (Sage People experience advantageous) and Analytical mindset with strong Excel skills
Strong numerical, organisational, and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach
Strong team player with a willingness to support across a variety of tasks
Comfortable handling fast-paced environments and last-minute requests
Culturally aware with a professional and approachable manner
