Our client is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist / Programmer to join a well-established precision engineering team. This is a hands-on role for someone who can program, set and operate with confidence producing high-quality components to exacting standards.
What youll be doing
Programming CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls
Setting and operating machinery to manufacture precision components
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
Selecting the right tooling and machining methods for each job
Carrying out first-off inspections and in-process quality checks
Adjusting offsets and programmes to maintain tight tolerances
Maintaining a safe, organised and efficient working environment
What youll bring
Proven experience programming CNC machines using Heidenhain controls
Ability to set and operate CNC milling machinery independently
Strong understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances xwzovoh and precision work
Experience working on small batch and high-accuracy components
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
