This historic, privately owned Dales inn dates back to the 13th century and is full of character, with flagged floors, open fires, beamed ceilings, and stone walls. The Green Dragon serves locally brewed ales and gin, alongside traditional pub food, contemporary accommodation, and locally sourced menus all focused on giving guests a first-class experience.
Applications are welcome from candidates with all levels of experience as well as those looking for their first job, including candidates under 18 , with full training provided.
What we need from you to apply:
Front of House experience is preferred, but not essential training provided
Willing and keen to learn
Friendly, bubbly personality
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
A team player who is happy to help where needed
Good attention to detail
Flexible to help cover staff shortages at the sister site if required
What this role involves:
Welcoming and seating guests
Taking food and drink orders accurately
Delivering excellent customer service at all times
Keeping front of house areas clean and organised
Working closely with the kitchen team
Supporting bar duties when required, including serving drinks
Following food safety and hygiene standards

Pay (dependent on age):
*Pay meets or exceeds the UK National Minimum Wage / National Living Wage rates*
Under 18 years: £8 per hour, plus tips
1820 years: £10.85 per hour, plus tips
21+ years: £12.71 per hour, up to £14 per hour, plus tips
Hours: Working full-time over 5 days or part-time hours available - day shifts, weekends and evenings between 16 and 40 hours per week. xwzovoh Hours to be agreed at interview stage.
