Senior Business Development Manager – B2B Events & Exhibitions (Hybrid)
Location: Central London / Hybrid Working
Salary: £50,000–£60,000 + Performance Bonus We are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Senior Business Development Manager to join a growing and dynamic B2B Events & Exhibitions business based in Central London. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-focused sales professional with experience in events, exhibitions, conferences, or media sales to take ownership of revenue growth and build strong relationships across key industry sectors. You’ll play a pivotal role in driving sponsorship, exhibition, and delegate sales, identifying new business opportunities, and developing long-term partnerships. The Role: As Senior Business Development Manager you will be responsible for:
Driving new business revenue across exhibitions, conferences, sponsorship and event solutions
Building and managing a strong pipeline of B2B sales opportunities
Identifying and engaging prospective clients through outbound sales activity
Developing relationships with senior decision-makers across multiple industries
Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to negotiation and close
Growing and nurturing existing client accounts to maximise revenue opportunities
Working collaboratively with marketing and event teams to support campaign success
Attending industry events, meetings and networking opportunities where required
Meeting and exceeding revenue targets and KPIs
About You:
We are looking for candidates who have:
Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, exhibitions, events, conference or sponsorship sales
A strong track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets
Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
Experience managing complex sales processes and high-value accounts
Strong commercial awareness and a proactive, consultative sales approach
A self-motivated and driven mindset with a passion for winning new business
Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
