Area Sales Manager

Area Sales Engineer (Factory Automation) – North West UK £50,000 – £55,000 Basic

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective territory management
• Build and maintain a strong 12–24 month sales pipeline of automation and vision projects
• Deliver technical product demonstrations and application evaluations
• Lead commercial negotiations and close deals
• Provide technical support and integration guidance to customers
• Work closely with integrators, OEMs, and internal teams
• Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and market feedback

Requirements

• 3+ years’ technical sales experience in machine vision, factory automation or industrial imaging
• Proven ability to manage complex solution sales
• Strong communication skills with technical and commercial stakeholders
• Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or related field preferred
• Self-motivated, full UK driving licence, and willing to travel
