About the role
Our client is a leading medical and scientific distribution company focused on delivering innovative, value-added solutions to the UK market, which now requires a Surgical Sales Territory Manager for Scotland to join their Surgical Sales team. As a Territory Manager for Scotland, you will play a key role in driving the growth and retention of business within your region. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with both existing and new clients, promoting products and solutions, and achieving sales targets. This is a field-based role with 60-75% travel, where you will work closely with customers on product demos, trials, and face-to-face meetings.
Promote and develop the surgical product portfolio to an agreed target market within the Healthcare sector. Increase overall sales volume of products within a designated regional territory by attaining or exceeding established sales budgets and objectives.
Gain In-depth product knowledge of product features, benefits, demonstrations, pricing and promotions.
Develop and maintain all new and existing accounts within the territory.
Report to and work closely with your direct line manager and sales team (sales activity and pipeline reporting, regular telephone and video call contact).
Develop medical knowledge relevant to key surgical specialities
Develop key customer network & assist in developing KOLs and reference sites, as part of the strategy to penetrate the market with new products.
Deliver product training to internal and external customers.
Educated to degree level or equivalent standard- Medical or Science Degree desirable.
Strong commercial background demonstrated by previous commercial achievements.
Excellent planning and organisational skills.
Computer literate with knowledge of word processing applications and Excel spreadsheets.
Please note this is a full-time, permanent, remote role with core hours of Monday – Friday 9 am – 5 pm but flexibility is required for business travel.
