Role: Key Account Manager
Type: Permanent
Hours: 40 hour week
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum + Benefits
Location: Rugby, West Midlands
Owen Daniels are supporting a leading engineering company in Rugby and we are looking for a proactive Key Account Manager to join on a permanent basis, due to growth in the business.
Key Account Manager – Key responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver sales strategies and account plans aligned with customer requirements.
- Manage day-to-day commercial tasks, including quotes and pricing, while improving overall profitability.
- Coordinate projects with internal teams and customers, ensuring smooth delivery and managing any changes effectively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key contacts through regular communication and site visits.
- Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts, and follow company policies on health, safety, and quality.
Key Account Manager - Essential Skills & Experience:
- Qualifications in Engineering are desirable such as HNC, HND or degree
- Minimum of 5 years in a sales/account management position in the Automotive industry or similar
- Strong problem solving and negotiation skills
- Ability to keep strong working relationships with customers and suppliers
