StaffCo Direct is recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for ongoing store delivery work based in Sherburn in Elmet. We're looking for day drivers, with regular weekly block bookings available and consistent work on offer. This is a well-run operation with a modern fleet, friendly transport team, and secure on-site parking.
Pay Rates (PAYE)
Days (Mon–Fri): £19.75ph plus holiday pay, or £22.13ph including holiday pay
Saturdays: £21.25ph plus holiday pay, or £23.81ph including holiday pay
Sundays: £22.00ph plus holiday pay, or £24.65ph including holiday pay
What the role involves
Start times between 09:00 and 13:00. You'll be completing store deliveries using a modern, well-maintained fleet. Shifts are typically 10–12 hours, with 8 hours guaranteed per shift, giving you consistency and reliable earnings week to week.
Our ideal candidate
Holds a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence held for at least 2 years
Has a valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
Has no more than 6 penalty points (no IN, DR or DD codes)
