Regional Sales Director – Europe
South England based | Hybrid | International Travel across Europe
We are exclusively partnering with a leading international manufacturer within the broadcast, media production and professional video technology sector to appoint a Regional Sales Director – Europe.
This is a high-profile leadership role with responsibility for a significant European region generating approximately £multi-million in annual revenue, managing an established direct sales organisation across multiple European territories including the UK, France, DACH, Iberia and Eastern Europe.
The business is recognised globally for delivering premium technology solutions into broadcasters, production companies, studios and professional content creators, with a strong reputation for innovation, technical excellence and long-term customer relationships.
Reporting at VP level, this role will take ownership of the European direct sales organisation, leading an existing team or regional sales across key territories and market segments.
The focus is heavily project-led and consultative, requiring a commercially driven sales leader who understands how complex technology solutions are positioned, sold and integrated within broadcast and media production environments.
The client is specifically seeking someone from a manufacturer background who understands portfolio-led selling, value-based sales strategy and how multiple product lines combine to create broader customer solutions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving accountability, improving forecasting accuracy, strengthening CRM discipline and developing strategic customer engagement across the region.
Year one will require a highly visible leadership presence, with approximately 50% travel expected to build relationships internally and externally, establish credibility with the team and make a strong commercial impact.
Lead and develop the European direct sales organisation across multiple territories
Ensure accurate forecasting, pipeline visibility and CRM adoption across the regional team
Develop high-level customer relationships with broadcasters, production groups, integrators and enterprise accounts
Coach and mentor sales leaders around value-based and solution-led selling approaches
Work closely with product management, marketing and technical teams to align commercial strategy
Lead regional account planning and growth strategy development
Support complex project opportunities, tenders and strategic customer engagements
Deliver operational accountability and performance management across the sales function
Proven senior sales leadership experience within a technology manufacturer environment (Industry is open)
Experience leading multi-country sales teams across Europe
Strong commercial forecasting and pipeline management capability
Ability to influence both internally and externally at senior stakeholder and executive level
Demonstrated success managing strategic customer relationships and complex sales cycles
Broadcast, professional video or media production technology market knowledge
Understanding of project-led sales environments
Additional European language skills

London-based / UK remote
