Area Sales Manager - Plumbing & Heating

A long-established manufacturer within the UK plumbing and heating sector is looking to recruit an Area Sales Manager to cover Derby, Leicester, Nottingham, Sheffield, Doncaster, York, Hull, Grimsby, Lincoln and Middlesbrough. Renowned for delivering high-quality, energy-efficient heating and hot water solutions, the business offers a fantastic opportunity to join a stable and growing organisation with a strong market reputation.

This field-based role will focus on managing and developing relationships with merchants and installers across the region. You'll be responsible for both account management and generating new business opportunities, working closely with customers to understand project requirements and promote a range of technical heating solutions.

The ideal candidate will have previous field sales or account management experience, ideally within plumbing, heating, building products or a related sector. Strong communication skills, commercial awareness and the ability to manage a regional territory effectively are essential.

Package includes £40,000-£45,000 basic salary, £15,000 OTE, company car, mobile phone, healthcare benefits and long-term career prospects within a respected manufacturer.

REQUIREMENTS

* Previous field sales or account management experience

* Experience within plumbing, heating, building products or a related technical sector would be advantageous

* Strong communication and relationship-building skills

* Commercially driven with the ability to identify and develop sales opportunities

* Organised and self-motivated, with the ability to manage a regional territory effectively

* Full UK driving licence
