Job Description Support Worker Location: Ashford, KentRate: £13.03 per hourPermanent | Full-time | 35 hours per week We are unable to consider Skilled Worker or Student Visa applicants for this role ‘At CareTech, we are committed to delivering Extraordinary Days, Every Day through high-quality, person-centred care. Our focus is on empowering independence, building confidence and life skills, and supporting people to live fulfilling lives in environments that best suit their needs. Orchard House is a small, friendly home which provides care and support for up to 10 people with learning and physical disabilities. They support 2 females and 8 males in this service. They support people with autism, epilepsy, mental health needs, angelmans syndrome, as well as people wheelchair bound. There is easy access to public transport, regular busses which stop 50 yards from the service. There is also onsite parking and it is close to the international train station as well as local shops. Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plansAssist with daily living skills and personal care where requiredPromote independence, dignity, and wellbeingSupport activities, appointments, and community accessMaintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a teamWork a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins You should be confident working independently and within a team, have good communication skills, basic IT and written abilities, and be flexible and reliable. No previous experience? If you have the passion, we’ll provide full training and a structured induction programme.
