Are you an experienced SENCo ready to step into an interim leadership role in September?
A well-regarded and high-performing primary school in Tower Hamlets is seeking an interim SENCo to lead and strengthen SEND provision on a 3-day-per-week basis.
The Role | SENCo:
Lead the strategic development of SEND policy and provision across the school.
Oversee the day-to-day operation of the SEND policy, coordinating targeted support for pupils with additional needs.
Identify pupils requiring EHCPs, ensuring timely assessment and appropriate provision.
Provide training and guidance for teaching staff and teaching assistants.
Plan and implement interventions in collaboration with external professionals, including Educational Psychologists and Speech & Language Therapists.
Work closely with parents, staff, and external agencies to ensure a joined-up approach to pupil support.
Manage and allocate the SEND budget effectively.

Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance (Inner London, pro rata)
Contract: Interim (3 days per week)
Start Date: September 2026
