Account Manager Salary: £45,000-£53,000 + Pool car + bonus

Responsibilities of an Account Manager:
Grow revenue across existing accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
Travel to see customers across the UK and Europe to meet clients and represent the business at industry exhibitions and events. (Build strong client relationships, supporting long-term account growth and uncovering additional commercial opportunities.
Regularly meet with existing and prospective customers, while also supporting colleagues during client visits and presentations.
Collaborate with the Sales Manager on territory planning, customer engagement strategies, and stock planning requirements.
Keep CRM records up to date to track customer activity, pipeline progress, market trends, and future opportunities.
Manage the quotation and order process accurately, ensuring all associated documentation is completed correctly.
Assist with sales forecasting and provide additional support to the Sales Manager where required.
Support and encourage colleagues to help drive team performance and achieve collective objectives.
Requirements on an Account Manager:
Previous experience within metals, engineering, industrial, or manufacturing sectors would be highly beneficial.
Demonstrated ability to develop strong customer relationships and grow revenue across both existing and new accounts.
Confident building long-term business partnerships, with a personable approach and willingness to travel to meet clients.
Eager to take the next step in their career, with the ambition to develop leadership and people management skills.
Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative sales environment and enjoys working towards targets and shared goals.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a customer-first approach and focus on relationship management.
Commercially minded individual with a proactive attitude and genuine interest in continuous development.
Additional language skills would be advantageous, particularly French or German, although not essential.
