AI Pre-Sales Consultant UK Wide / Hybrid
Base salary: £70-120k (dependent on level of experience) + Commission (full details to follow) + Benefits
We’re hiring an AI Pre-Sales Consultant to join a growing, data consultancy.
This is a key role focused on building and driving AI capability across the business. You’ll work closely with sales, delivery and leadership to shape how AI is positioned to clients, create pipeline, and help win new work.
The role
This is a client-facing, commercial role first. Not a pure engineering position.
You will:
Lead AI-led client conversations, workshops and discovery sessions
Shape solution architecture aligned to business problems
Support bids, tenders and proposals (including public sector)
Work with sales teams to create and convert pipeline
Help define the AI offering and go-to-market strategy
Contribute to thought leadership, events and marketing activity
Support existing accounts to open up new AI opportunities
You’ll become the go-to person for AI, with real ownership to build this area out.
What we’re looking for
Background in pre-sales, solution architecture & consulting
Strong commercial mindset, able to identify and develop opportunities
Experience running client workshops and shaping programmes of work
Good understanding of AI use cases and business value
Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders
Collaborative approach, working across sales and delivery teams
Nice to have:
Experience within a Microsoft / Azure data environment
Exposure to Fabric, Foundry, Copilot or Azure AI services
Awareness of tools like Databricks
Experience supporting POCs, demos or AI engagements
