About the role

Sales Executive (New Business) Fintech / Investment Management Technology London (Hybrid – 3 days in office) £This is a new business “hunter” role within a well-established, global fintech firm delivering enterprise technology and consulting solutions to the alternative investment industry. You will be joining a well-established firm (1,000+ employees, 200+ institutional clients globally) who are now heavily investing in UK/European growth, hiring a number of commercially driven salespeople to win new logos across hedge funds, private equity firms, and asset managers. Data management & data platforms Reconciliation & reporting Regulatory & investor reporting Front-to-back office technology solutions Owning full-cycle new business sales (no account management bias) Building pipeline via outbound, events, and targeted account engagement Developing relationships across hedge funds, PE firms, and asset managers Running complex, consultative sales processes Positioning multi-product solutions to solve operational/data challenges Leveraging internal product specialists and pre-sales analysts Managing opportunities through long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles Staying close to market trends and identifying commercial opportunities 2–5 years’ experience in B2B software/solutions sales ~ Experience selling into the buy-side (hedge funds, PE, asset managers) strongly preferred ~ Data / data platforms / analytics ~ Regulatory / reporting solutions ~ Treasury / reconciliation / operations tech ~ Comfortable with enterprise sales motions (multi-stakeholder, long cycles) ~ Strong commercial instinct with a genuine hunter mentality ~ New logo role with significant growth opportunities Access to 5,000–10,000 targeted prospects and strong sales tooling Backed by pre-sales analysts and product SMEs Established global client base + strong brand credibility Sales Leadership → CCO → CEO ~
