About the role

Not only is there a £200k - £250k revenue book to inherit here, this is a rare opportunity for a Commercial Account Executive who would like to specialize in the interesting world of marine insurance. You'll service clients including vessel owners and operators, marinas, boat builders, boatyards, terminals and sailing clubs amongst others! Typical marine covers including Hull and Machinery, P&I, Marine Liability and Marine Trade. This is ideal if you're particularly strong in the commercial combined/package class of business, have an interest in boats and all things marine, plus are a serviced orientated Commercial Account Executive with a track record of developing £25k - £30k of new business per year. Our client is a well-established, independent Chartered Insurance Broker with a strong reputation across the commercial insurance market. The business has developed a particularly strong reputation within niche and specialist sectors including marine, property, education, technology and private client insurance, combining technical expertise with a genuinely client-focused approach. As an independent broker, they pride themselves on providing tailored solutions rather than a transactional service, with long-standing client relationships and excellent staff retention underpinning their continued growth. A salary in the £50k - £70k range is on offer inluding bonus structure to incentive retention, growth and new business.
