Account Manager – Managed Services (50/50 New Business & Account Growth)
Location: Surrey (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to £70K base + £50K OTE
I’m currently partnering with a growing MSP that’s investing heavily in its sales function and looking to hire an Account Manager to support continued expansion.
This is a true 50/50 role, combining new business development with account management, giving you the opportunity to both win new logos and grow existing relationships.
The Opportunity
You’ll be joining a business with a strong technical capability across managed and professional services, working closely with pre-sales and delivery teams to position tailored solutions to customers.
The role will involve:
- Driving new business acquisition across mid-market and enterprise clients
- Managing and growing an existing portfolio of accounts
- Identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities across managed and professional services
- Building long-term, trusted relationships with key stakeholders
- Running full end-to-end sales cycles from prospecting through to close
This is an environment where you’ll have the autonomy to build your own pipeline, while also benefiting from an established brand and delivery capability.
What They’re Looking For
- Proven experience in IT services sales (MSP, VAR or consultancy)
- Strong track record in managed and/or professional services
- Experience balancing new business and account growth
- Ability to engage with stakeholders at multiple levels
- Commercially driven with a focus on revenue and GP delivery
