Business Development Manager – Automotive Technology London Office – 3 days per week £Bonus Scheme Plus: 28 days’ holiday, share options, private healthcare, pension & more Our client is an expanding technology business supplying software and digital services into the automotive market. Their solutions are used by automotive retailers to improve sales activity, increase operational visibility and support day-to-day commercial performance. The business works with a broad customer base across the UK and continues to grow within a fast-paced and commercially focused environment. This is a company that values proactive sales professionals who can create opportunities, build pipeline and contribute directly to growth. This is a pure business development role focused on generating and converting new customers. You will manage the sales process from initial contact through to close, before passing accounts across to the wider team. The role is heavily outbound and phone-focused, requiring somebody comfortable making high volumes of calls and consistently creating new opportunities through proactive outreach. Conducting high levels of outbound activity across phone, email and LinkedIn. Booking meetings with key decision-makers within automotive businesses. Understanding customer challenges and commercial priorities. Delivering online product presentations and sales demonstrations. Building and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline. Negotiating commercial terms and progressing opportunities through to close. Keeping CRM records updated accurately. We are looking for an ambitious and resilient sales professional with experience in outbound B2B sales environments. Have a strong background in new business development. Enjoy working in a high-activity sales role. Be organised in managing pipeline and sales activity. Take ownership of personal performance and results. Experience within automotive, SaaS, digital advertising, technology or related sectors would be beneficial, although attitude and new business capability are considered the priority. This role would suit somebody who enjoys outbound sales, building new relationships and working within a fast-moving commercial environment.
