About the role
We’re Happy Yolk - an award-winning, female-founded social-first creative agency specialising in building culturally relevant brands through content, creators and storytelling.
We work with some of the UK’s most exciting interiors, lifestyle and retail brands, helping them build communities, grow visibility and create social-first work people genuinely want to engage with. We take our clients’ complex challenges and turn them into meaningful creative work that delivers both cultural relevance and real commercial impact.
We’re now looking for a Senior Account Manager who genuinely loves interiors, understands taste-led brands and wants to play a key role within a growing agency environment.
Since then, we’ve gone on to help build culturally relevant brands across interiors, lifestyle, beauty, FMCG and retail - we’ve even worked with King Charles III, making one of his newly adopted chickens famous.
We’re looking for a Senior Account Manager with strong strategic thinking skills and agency experience to lead key client relationships across our home and interiors accounts.
This role is ideal for someone who combines creative instinct with organisation, commercial awareness and excellent communication. Someone who understands how agencies operate, can confidently manage clients and enjoys building long-term relationships rooted in trust, clarity and care.
Equally important is the client experience itself - ensuring clients feel exceptionally well looked after, clearly communicated with and fully supported throughout every stage of a project.
You’ll lead the day-to-day management of accounts, guide social strategy, collaborate closely with our creative and production teams, and help ensure projects run smoothly across multiple moving parts.
You’ll be supported by a wider team across content production, paid media and creative - but you’ll be responsible for leading relationships, steering strategy and maintaining momentum across your accounts.
Social Strategy & Account Leadership
Own day-to-day client relationships, acting as the main strategic lead across accounts.
Build clear monthly content strategies, campaign plans and platform recommendations aligned with wider brand and business objectives.
Maintain exceptional client communication and ensure clients feel consistently informed, supported and looked after.
Set clear KPIs across growth, engagement, reach and content performance, alongside regular reporting and actionable insights.
Manage multiple client accounts simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of organisation, responsiveness and attention to detail.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure projects remain on schedule, within scope and commercially efficient.
Understand agency operations including resourcing, account profitability, billable time and delivery efficiencies.
Content Direction & Creative Thinking
Lead social content direction across accounts in collaboration with creative, production and paid media teams.
Ensure content output is platform-native, visually elevated and aligned with each brand’s positioning.
Bring proactive creative ideas, campaign concepts and culturally relevant opportunities to both clients and internal teams.
Identify emerging trends, behaviours and platform shifts relevant to interiors, lifestyle and design audiences.
Brief and oversee content production across shoots, creators, photographers and videographers.
Support copywriting and messaging direction across social channels, ensuring strong storytelling and tone of voice consistency.
Collaborate with paid media and creator teams to ensure content is optimised across both organic and paid performance.
Client Experience & Relationship Management
Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients through excellent communication, clarity and reliability.
Ensure clients feel genuinely cared for throughout every stage of a project or campaign.
Maintain strong internal organisation across timelines, approvals, feedback rounds and project delivery.
Work closely with strategists, creatives, production teams and freelancers across projects.
Support junior team members and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Help shape and improve internal processes as the agency grows.
Contribute positively to Happy Yolk’s culture of kindness, honesty, respect and creative ambition.
Monitor and report on social performance across accounts, translating insights into actionable recommendations.
Use platform data, audience behaviour and campaign learnings to continually refine strategy and creative direction.
Understand what makes content perform organically while balancing brand storytelling with commercial objectives.
Strong understanding of how agencies operate, including account management structures and workflows.
Commercial awareness and understanding of billable hours, profitability and efficient account management.
Excellent communication and client management skills.
A genuine passion for home, interiors, design and lifestyle brands.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Comfortable leading conversations and building client confidence.
Ability to manage approximately 2–4 accounts at one time.
Ability to work in-person with the team 2–3 days per week.
We care deeply about the quality of our work, but equally about how we work together as a team and how we make our clients feel throughout the process.
