We are recruiting on behalf of a popular and well established venue for an experienced Sous Chef to join their kitchen team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Sous Chef looking to work within a busy, professional kitchen serving high quality fresh food in a stunning coastal location.
The client is particularly keen to speak with chefs who are looking for live-in accommodation, with comfortable accommodation available on site for just £85 per week making this a fantastic relocation opportunity.
The Role Support the Head Chef with the day to day running of the kitchen
Help lead and motivate the brigade during busy services
Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency and presentation
Assist with ordering, stock control and GP management
Ensure excellent food hygiene and kitchen organisation
Contribute ideas for menus and specials
Support training and development of junior chefs
The Ideal Candidate Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef
Fresh food background essential
Calm and organised during busy services
Passionate about quality ingredients and standards
Strong team player with a positive attitude
Reliable, hardworking and hands-on approach
Package £37,000 salary
