About the role
I am looking to employ a FEMALE Self-Employed Personal Assistant /Support worker Support duties will include accompaniment to social events and appointments, support when out and about in the local community, and help to engage in social activities and hobbies.

Due to the nature of the role, it is important that you are able to speak English fluently as you will need to carry out some communications on my behalf.
The support worker will be working alongside my current PAs, working 1 x 4 hour Friday shift or 1 x 6 hour Saturday shift per week, with the possibility of more shifts.
Friday 09:00
- 13:00 Saturday 08:00
- 13:00 (to assist me with a market stall).
Some Sundays may be required.
These days may change depending on appointments etc., so some degree of flexibility is ideal.
No time wasters please! Immediate start following initial contact and approval.
Requirements for the role: 1.
You must have experience in working with people on the Autistic Spectrum.
2.
Be a non-smoker, and car driver, have your own car, to be able to get here (ideally you will live locally- Maidstone area).
3.
I would like someone that has some flexibility, as on occasions you may be asked to cover over shifts at a days at short notice.
For this Role you will need to have or provide the following: 1.
You need to be registered as self-employed with HMRC.
2.
You will need a current Enhanced DBS Certificate (this can be obtained via an umbrella body e.g.
ILG-PA) 3.
You should have your own terms and conditions of service, and be able to provide a contract.
4.
You will provide a professional invoice you for your services, on a two weekly basis.
5.
You must have your own Public Liability Insurance.
6.
You will need to be flexible and reliable, and be on time, honest and trustworthy.
7.
You will need to arrange and pay for any training you feel may be necessary to carry out your role.
8.
If you are unable to work any agreed shift, you will need to liaise with my other support worker to arrange cover. xwzovoh
9.
You will need to wear appropriate clothing and footwear to enable you to carry out your role, i.e.
coat for outdoors, walking shoes etc.
10.
I will require two references ( these can be professional, personal, or from previous employment) 11.
Must be comfortable around dogs, as I have a pet dog and you may need to accompany me on dog walks, and to attend the vets.
12.
Must have proof of ID ( passport/driving licence) Perks: Free bus travel when accompanying me on the bus.
Free parking at place of work (visitor's bay) Free entrance as an essential companion to attractions that we attend together
