Job Title: Sample Reception Technician Location: Sittingbourne Pay Range/details: £13.60 per hour Contract Type: Temporary Omega has an exciting opportunity to work with one of the UK’s leading water testing specialists, This role is initially offered on a temporary basis working Monday - Friday 16:00-00:00 Key Responsibilities – Sample Reception Technician Assigning accurate testing Handling of all activities relating to sample reception and goods in including receiving deliveries and unpacking samples, shipping of parcels/post Logging samples into LIMS and storage Some lab-based work and administration tasks. Assisting the team in maintaining an efficient workflow through the laboratory. Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and hygiene in storage areas including sample disposal. To liaise with Custmoer Service and clients regarding any sample queries To despatch and document samples to subcontract labs in a timely manner avoiding deviations Qualifications & Requirements – Sample Reception Technician Accurate data entry Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy. To be able to work within set targets and goals and be able to manage expectations. To be able to work well in a team, with an open, honest and approachable character. To have a good eye for detail and understand the business processes. To demonstrate flexibility and willingness to support other individuals in the team.
