Cover Supervisor - Secondary School (The Vale)

Are you confident leading a classroom and able to maintain a positive learning environment? We are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in The Vale of Glamorgan on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience working with young people who can confidently manage classrooms and support students' learning in the absence of the regular teacher. The Role: Supervising whole classes during teacher absences Delivering pre-set work and ensuring students remain on task Managing classroom behaviour effectively Supporting a positive and inclusive learning environment Following school policies and procedures The Ideal Candidate: Has previous experience working in a school, youth work, coaching, or similar setting Is confident managing groups of students and maintaining classroom control Has experience supporting or working with challenging behaviour Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills Is adaptable, reliable, and professional What We Offer: Competitive daily rate of £105 per day Flexible working opportunities to suit your availability Experience across a variety of schools in The Vale of Glamorgan Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant Opportunities for longer-term placements If you have the confidence, resilience, and classroom presence to make a positive impact in schools, we'd love to hear from you.
