Senior Project Management Coordinator

Adeptus Talent is recruiting for an Project Manager on behalf of a Wiltshire-based client operating within the Aerospace & Defence sector.

We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to help drive our clients next phase of growth, transitioning from advanced R&D and prototype development into the delivery of mature, mission-critical products for the defence and aerospace sector.

This is a high-impact opportunity for a technically capable and commercially minded Project Manager who thrives in complex engineering environments and understands the importance of delivering to time, cost, and quality.

The Role:

You’ll lead the end-to-end delivery of projects, managing multidisciplinary teams across software, systems, and mechanical engineering while ensuring compliance with stringent aerospace and defence standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading project planning, execution, and delivery
• Managing timelines, budgets, and resources
• Coordinating integration, testing, and validation activities
• Working closely with regulatory and compliance teams
• Managing project risk and stakeholder engagement
• Driving continuous improvement using Agile / Lean methodologies

Essential Experience:

• Proven Project Management experience within defence or aerospace
• Strong understanding of aerospace safety and compliance standards
• Experience managing complex engineering programmes
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Familiarity with tools such as MS Project, Jira, or Primavera
• Eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance
• Right to work in the UK

Desirable Experience:

• PMP certification
• Experience working with defence contractors or military programmes
