Social Worker Permanence Team

Bradford Social Services are currently recruiting for a number of experienced Qualified Social Worker for their Children Services. The roles are based in their Child in Care / Permanence Team. These positions will be for a period of 6 months but are likely to be extended. The Permanence Team is a specialist social work team working with disabled children, young people and their families. The permanence team in Bradford children's services offers a safe, stable, and long-term home for children who cannot live with their birth parents. They ensure every child has a loving, consistent environment, whether through adoption, long-term foster care, or living with extended family; to support their emotional and legal security. The team focuses on finding a permanent solution for the child's upbringing through the following Long-Term Planning Duties include : rehabilitation with birth parents, finding kinship carers (family and friends), long-term fostering, or adoption, Court Work Caseload is no more that 18 per Social Worker with open door policy with managers, regular supervision and training offered.
