Heavy Plant Fitter 📍 Redbourn, Hertfordshire 💷 £23–£25 per hour + Overtime 🕒 Full-Time | Permanent | Day Shift TEKNIKAL Specialist Recruitment are working with a well-established, family-run business in Redbourn that is experiencing continued growth. As a result, we are now looking to recruit a skilled Heavy Plant Fitter to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer with a strong mechanical background to work on a wide range of specialist heavy plant machinery in both workshop and field-based environments. The Role You will be responsible for: * Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs * Diagnosing faults across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems * Providing breakdown support when required * Maintaining accurate service records * Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety standards What We're Looking For * Proven experience as a Heavy Plant Fitter or Plant Mechanic, with hands-on expertise working on equipment such as forklifts (FLT), dumper trucks, loading shovels, and excavators. * Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical and hydraulic systems * Knowledge of diesel engines and plant equipment * Ability to work independently and within a team * Full UK driving licence (essential) What's on Offer * Competitive pay (£23–£25 per hour) * Overtime opportunities * Pension scheme * Ongoing training and development * Supportive and stable working environment 👉 Apply now or contact Shimlan Choudhury @ TEKNIKAL for more details. 💰 Refer a friend and earn up to £250
