Production Operative

Production Operative (Temp to Perm) Location: Bridgwater Hours: Full Time | Permanent | Monday to Friday 8am until 4.30pm with a 1pm finish on a Friday Key Responsibilities of a Production Operative: * Perform dimensional and visual inspections of all products. * Operate various production machinery, including weighing, mixing, and pressing equipment. * Set up tooling for production runs. * Conduct quality checks throughout the production process. * Carry out all operations as outlined in production paperwork and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). * Maintain a clean and organised work area at all times. * Work flexibly and be willing to be transferred to other production areas as needed. * Perform all work activities in accordance with health and safety requirements. * Maintain a high standard of punctuality and attendance. * Work well under the pressure of deadlines. Key Skills of a Production Operative: * Experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial. * Good manual dexterity. * Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. * An understanding of how quality impacts business operations. * The ability to understand and complete paperwork accurately. * A team player with a positive attitude. * Flexible with the ability to learn new skills and adapt to new processes. * Excellent communication skills * A strong health and safety mindset
