SEND Learning Support Assistant - PRU & Alternative Provision Wokingham & Surrounding Areas Flexible Hours Available | Part-Time & Full-Time Opportunities Please note: Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK. Are you currently working as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or SEND Support Worker and looking for a role that offers greater variety and flexibility? Quantum Scholars is recruiting SEND Learning Support Assistants to support students accessing a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) and wider alternative provision services across Wokingham. This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You will support students from a range of backgrounds who may have experienced difficulties in mainstream education. Some students will be based within a PRU setting, while others will require one-to-one tuition and support at home as they prepare to transition back into education. The Role This position combines learning support, mentoring and one-to-one tuition, allowing you to build positive relationships with students and help them achieve successful outcomes. Students may present with: Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs Behavioural challenges Trauma-related difficulties Anxiety and emotionally based school avoidance Medical needs Additional learning needsThis role is particularly well suited to LSAs and TAs who enjoy working closely with students and would like a more varied role than a traditional classroom-based position. Opportunities are available from part-time hours through to full-time timetables.
